Hiring Coordinator
This position is a non-exempt, hourly, and pays between $23-$25 per hour. The position is responsible for the onboarding and training of new care team members for the branch office. A positive, professional partnership with internal recruiting staff and external referral sources is required. The position is also responsible for the scheduling and completion of DCW/DSW certifications for all caregivers. The Hiring Coordinator is expected to help with resourcing and interviewing during the times there are no scheduled orientations and training.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Recognize and respect cultural differences.
• Keep Wellsky calendar up to date for orientations and DSW/DCW.
• Maintain communication with applicants.
• Maintain notes in Paradox.
• Conduct final interview prior to starting orientation.
• Maintain orientation folders for each new hire.
• Ensure new hires have completed prehire forms, Proliant paperwork, and background paperwork prior to orientation.
• Create new Trainual accounts for new hires and ensure that inactive accounts are archived.
• Complete I9 document in Proliant.
• Scan all hiring documents into the personnel file.
• Conduct basic skill testing during orientation to ensure new hires are able to do transfers, use a gait belt, etc.
• Ensure new hires are able to use Wellsky app and know company policies.
• Schedule DCW/DSW shift.
• Introduce new hires to office staff and have them meet with schedulers.
• Proctor DCW/DSW challenge tests and administer skills verifications.
- Notify HR when the employee has passed.
- Update Wellsky – Tags and Skills/Background Section.
• Work with recruiters on assisting with interviewing/resourcing.
• Attend mandatory meetings.
• Report new hire data to team members.
• Conduct a 2-week check-in phone call to new hires.
- Complete the 2-week check-in document in the employee’s file.
- Attach the 2-week check-in document to the Slack/Caregiver Notes channel.
• Performed other duties as assigned.

• Be able to be a certified DCW Instructor and a Notary (AZ Only).

Education and Experience:
• One year of recruiting/training experience OR
• One year of related experience.
